CENTER GUIDELINES

Children wear sneakers or other rubber-soled shoes at all times. Open-toed shoes and slip-ons are not safe for an active day. Please label all items. Leave your child's toys at home; the center is not responsible for broken, lost, or stolen items. Infants need three crib sheets and a blanket, sent home every Friday for laundering. Toddlers and preschoolers rest daily and need a sleeping bag, soft mat, and pillow.

What this looks like in practice

When children wear shoes they can run in, they climb and move without slipping. Labeled clothes and sheets come home to the right cubby, and infants get fresh bedding each week. A familiar mat and pillow help a child settle at rest time. Leaving toys at home means fewer lost treasures and fewer tears, and children learn to use what the room offers.
